Said to originate from Algeria in the 1840s iced coffee can be served sticky sweet, brewed hot or cold with added whipped cream. Always with loads of ice. Our recipe uses medium roasted beans extracted as a double espresso added to oat milk with just a dash of sugar.

Glass Tumbler

Ingredients

Sugar or Simple Syrup

Coffee

Ice

Milk

Method

Pour some hot water into a cup, adding one teaspoon of sugar (or to taste). Mix
together well.
Pull an espresso shot into the sugar and water.
Add some ice and 150ml of milk into a mixing jug/glass.
Add the Espresso and mix to taste.
