A fully assembled ROK 50mm open portafilter for use in all our espresso machines.
Manufactured from chrome-plated die cast zinc supporting our stainless steel filter basket.
The filter basket is suitable for a double espresso dose ranging from 16 to 20 grams of coffee grounds.

I initially wanted this to help dial in my shots (they look great) but I believe it has actually improved my espresso - Firstly the included basket is far superior to the one in my spouted portafliter, the perforations seem cleaner & the pattern reminds me of an IMS basket. Secondly, the locking "Ears" are bigger, meaning you get a good seal without having to turn the handle way over to the left.

This is my second naked portafilter. The handle of the older one broke off. The new one works perfectly. I hope the handle holds. No dripping or leakage with this one. Great coffee! The only thing is that the ROK dosing funnel doesn't fit very well.
