Grinder Bevel Gears

Does the job. Easy(ish) to replace parts. Very happy.

The grinder is generally awesome however in what felt like the last 10 years I needed to change it twice...should I get some in advance in case you terminate this product or god forbid close shop.

My wife loved her grinder until today when it suddenly went CRACK! Grinder gears disintegrated. Grinder is supposed to be guaranteed 10 years. These gears need to be made of fiber reinforced plastic or better yet out of BRASS! Brass would last forever and make the grinder immortal.
Currently the gears appear to be unavailable. So now what? Buy a new one (not ROK)?
ROK people: PLEASE make a brass version for people that appreciate true longevity. It’s like you’ve gone 98% of the way, but the plastic gears are in my opinion a very bad choice of material that runs counter to your whole philosophy. Makes no sense not to use brass. Brass lasts forever.
Without brass gears these grinders will unfortunately all land in a landfill or be recycled for scrap shortly after ROK goes out of business…

Easy enough to replace after watching a YouTube video but would have been good if instructions were included with the purchase. Also the plastic bushes on the axle were worn and it would have cost pennies to put a couple of them in the package. Works very smoothly afterwards though!

Great service and delivery but these gears should be made of steel as they do seem to break very easily, ordered 3 sets so fingers crossed.
